DESIGNING FOR HUMANS
My curiosity to explore other cultures drives the passion I have for meeting people and understanding them in their world. My name is Kim, I’m an end-to-end Product Design Lead with a heavily stamped passport. I trek because I love the process and I snowboard because I love to focus.
I believe that design should be user-centric. We aren't all tech-savvy, millennials living in a metropolitan area. Design is meant for people of different ages, color, and gender. It is discovering facts about different humans and their behavior that drives my ambition as a designer.
I have exposure with both startup and corporate settings, creating beautiful, clean, engaging, and functional interfaces. I have cultivated my skill set in-house and as a freelancer for various companies such as Condé Nast, Classpass, Viacom, and AOL.
I am an alumni of Parsons, The New School for Design, with 6 years of design experience, and a strong focus on digital and mobile design. My additional skill set includes and is not limited to: Product Management and Marketing.
I'm an avid snowboarder, skateboarder, and outdoorswoman. I love to travel and have backpacked throughout South America volunteering, eating, and learning about South American cultures. Last but not least I am a foodie and enjoy cooking tasty meals at home!
